WYMAN WINBUSH
Wyman has over 30 years of speaking and training experience and is a Certified Life Coach. He is dedicated to equipping individuals to accomplish their divine potential through personally designed lectures, workshops, seminars, coaching and consulting services. He has leveraged his 30-year military experience, volunteer services, corporate savvy and spiritual insight to inspire thousands of people to make the most of their natural abilities, to “THINK BIG,” and enjoy the journey on their road to success. Top companies such as State Farm Insurance, Florida Blue, IBM, Progress Energy, the US Navy and other military branches are just a few that have benefited from his “Called2Excellence” presentations.
Wyman is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and Jacksonville University (MBA). He is a 30 year employee with IBM. Prior to IBM, Wyman was a helicopter pilot and instructor in the US Navy. He retired as a Captain in the Naval Reserves with 30 years total service. He continues to serve his nation as a keynote speaker/trainer at the Navy's “Yellow Ribbon” sessions.
Wyman is an active member of the Jacksonville community and he is liberal with his contributions of time, talent, and treasure with Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way, Hands on Jacksonville, the Blueprint for Leadership, and numerous educational institutions. He served 10 years as a gubernatorial appointee on the District Board of Trustees of the Florida State College at Jacksonville which included two years as Chairman. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA), which is the 7th largest municipal electric utility in the U.S.
Wyman is an alumni of Leadership Florida. He is an licensed, ordained minister, and is the Pastor of Men in his church. Wyman holds a second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do and enjoys music, politics, and gourmet cooking.
